Dog birthday "Cupcakes"

Today is my dog Olive's birthday. She is turning one, and I am so excited about it. She is a rambunctious german shorthaired pointer, who loves playing, and destroying our house. We are also obedience training her right now, and she is starting to improve a lot. First here is a picture of her:

I also wanted to make her cupcakes, but our other dog Zippi, is allergic to a lot of things, and I was challenged with the task of making something both of them could enjoy. I didn't want to spend a lot of time on the recipe, so I made something simple that I knew they would both love. Here is the recipe:

2 large carrots, chopped

enough peanut butter to cover all the carrots

4 cupcake liners

dogfood

mix the carrots and peanut butter in a bowl, and then put in cupcake liners. Top of with your favorite dogwood, and a carrot stick. 

The Best Muffins

Today I was looking on a website called Elanaspantry.com and found a recipe for carrot and banana muffins. They are sweetened with dates, and have no added sugar. All the fat comes from coconut oil, and an added plus: they're gluten free. Even my older sister, who never likes what I make, loves these.
